The Polish authorities were prompted to enact precautionary measures after an explosion, reportedly linked to a Russian drone, was detected approximately 4 kilometers from the Polish border near the town of Dorohusk. In response, Polish fighter jets were dispatched to assess the situation, according to Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
As a result of the incident, residents in some parts of eastern Poland received government alerts cautioning them about a potential air attack. Additionally, airports in the cities of Lublin and Rzeszow temporarily halted operations as a safety measure.
