SALMON:LAB, a skincare brand from South Korea, is making its debut in the Polish retail market through a collaboration with Rossmann Poland. The brand, managed by the Corporation Dreamcos, initiated this venture with a shipment of 50,000 units distributed across 120 stores in June 2026. This marks the brand’s first significant partnership with a European mass-market drugstore chain, a strategic move as SALMON:LAB seeks to broaden its footprint across Central European markets. In addition to its entry into Poland, the brand is also working on expanding its presence in the Czech Republic.
Established in February 2026, SALMON:LAB has rapidly expanded its market reach, entering countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic, Türkiye, Russia, and various Latin American regions within just six months of its launch. The products offered by SALMON:LAB are developed and distributed by General Brands, Inc., a subsidiary of Dreamcos, which also oversees the brand’s international marketing and global distribution strategies. This effort is part of Dreamcos’ broader ambition to establish a stronghold in Central Europe.
The core of SALMON:LAB’s product lineup is its use of salmon-derived PDRN (polynucleotide), an ingredient praised for enhancing skin elasticity and supporting barrier care. The brand’s flagship product, the SALMON:LAB VGENE PDRN Ampoule, boasts a concentration of 5,000 ppm of PDRN, which is currently the highest in their range. Beyond the ampoule, the brand offers a comprehensive skincare portfolio including essences, creams, toners, cleansing gel foams, and hydrogel masks, all designed for routine skincare. General Brands has also focused on formulation and fragrance to mitigate the natural odor of salmon-derived ingredients.
By partnering with Rossmann, SALMON:LAB secures a physical retail presence in Poland, moving beyond reliance on cross-border online sales. This strategic move allows the company to enhance its store coverage and adapt its product lineup and brand positioning to meet the unique demands of individual European markets. A representative from Dreamcos emphasized the significance of Poland and the Czech Republic in their Central European expansion, noting that Rossmann offers an established retail platform to introduce their brand to a wider consumer base.
Dreamcos, beyond SALMON:LAB, encompasses a diverse portfolio that includes brands like DUFT&DOFT and NOLIE, furthering its operations in the beauty and lifestyle sectors. For more information, interested parties can contact Kang Ho-min at Corporation Dreamcos via email at [email protected].
