Wildfire smoke isn’t just a problem outside – it can get inside your home or workplace, too. To help, Carrier has launched a program to make indoor spaces healthier and safer.
The company suggests using HVAC systems with strong filters, sealing windows and doors, and running portable air purifiers with HEPA technology. “Indoor air quality is key to protecting families during wildfire events,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions.
Carrier is also giving back by donating $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
